The MagSafe Charging Case and Wireless Charging Case for AirPods Pro (Gen 1 ) and MagSafe Charging Case for AirPods Pro (Gen 2) are not waterproof or sweatproof; they weren’t designed for use in the shower, water splashes, food, wine or coffee.
This is where the Catalyst Waterproof case shines. The case is waterproof up to IP67- 1m/3.3ft and features a unique one-piece foldable design which incorporates patented waterproof sealing ribs that seal against the top of the Charging Case to prevent water, dust, and dirt from entering, keeping your AirPods Pro (Gen 2/1) safe and clean and reducing exposure to dirt and bacteria that could otherwise cause ear infections. The waterproof plug at the base of the case also seals out water from the charging port.
Unique One-Piece Foldable Design Keeps AirPods from Falling Out
The Waterproof Case for AirPods Pro (Gen 2/1) is designed to to survive drops of up to 1.2m/4ft (MIL-STD-810G) and protects the MagSafe Charging Case for AirPods Pro (Gen 2/1) against scratches, drops or other impacts that can affect the Charging Case’s water resistance and inbuilt acoustic membranes. The premium soft silicone material holds the device securely with its non-slip grip and the one-piece foldable design wraps around the Charging Case when folded up, so that even after a drop, the lid will stay closed and the AirPods Pro (Gen 2/1) will not pop out. Secure with premium carabiner included, designed so your AirPods stay inside even when the case is open so your AirPods won't go missing.
Never Lose Your AirPods Pro
To fully protect the AirPods Pro against water and drops, the lanyard loop, speaker and microphone of the AirPods Pro (Gen 2/1) are fully sealed and covered inside the case, however, the case does not attenuate Ultra Wideband transmission so the Precision Finding feature of Find Nearby can be used to locate MagSafe Charging Case for AirPods Pro (Gen 2) using the Find My app with iOS 16, even if it's stuck between couch cushions or hiding under a stack of mail. When you are in proximity of the AirPods Pro (Gen 2), you can then use the Play Sound function and the speaker transmits its high frequency sound, which is still clearly audible through the Waterproof case.
Premium Soft Silicone, Wireless Charging Compatible
Our case is compatible with wireless/Qi-certified charging mats. The material is easy to clean and disinfect, won’t stress crack and it doesn’t attenuate wireless charging speed. In fact, in testing conducted by Catalyst and by an independent third-party testing lab using an AirPods Pro (Gen 1), wireless charging inside our case went from zero to 100% fully charged within 10 minutes of the naked device and up to 40-minutes faster charge time than competitor cases made of other materials, such as polycarbonate. Battery life depends on device settings, environment, usage, and many other factors.
